THERAPY RECOMMENDATION

Positive effects:

  • L-leucine, L-isoleucine, and L-valine are essential branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs). They activate mTOR, are indispensable for the development and maintenance of muscle mass, and stimulate glycogenesis, insulin secretion, and lipid synthesis. They have an anabolic effect. They support the production of leukocytes and have antiviral properties.
  • Neurodegeneration: Branched-chain amino acids inhibit the uptake of aromatic amino acids across the blood-brain barrier, promote the detoxification of ammonia, and have neuroregenerative effects.

TIP: Can be easily combined with 15 g of vitamin C.

Therapeutic recommendations: There is evidence that the properties of the substances contained in the product may have a positive effect on health disorders related to the following indications:

  • acute infections (common cold and flu season)
  • chronic infections and their side effects
  • rehabilitative therapy after prolonged illness
  • for intensive strength building during recovery phases, withotrop
  • chronic fatigue, chronic tiredness, CFS, burnout syndrome, long-term stress
  • as a supplement in competitive sports, to maintain and strengthen body substances and tissues, support muscles, and promote faster recovery and muscle building
  • as part of dietary programs, such as ketogenic diets and weight management
  • liver diseases
  • as part of complementary cancer therapy in cases of phenylalanine intolerance

Contraindications: Do not use in children under 6 years of age. In cases of impaired kidney, liver, or heart function, and albumin deficiency, adjustment of the individual dose is recommended. Patients taking beta-blockers have an increased risk of a decompensated cardiovascular reaction, as beta-blockers inhibit the effect of adrenaline (emergency medical treatment). Patients with a tendency to allergic reactions and/or with conditions based on histamine release (e.g., asthma) should be questioned about known allergens in accordance with the principles of therapeutic due diligence.

Note for physicians and therapists: In principle, the physician/therapist determines the indication for individual prescriptions. The proposal is merely a recommendation for a treatment option, while the dosage and frequency of use are solely at the discretion of the physician/therapist. The treating therapist is responsible for the treatment and must individually review and assess the respective application for each patient before starting treatment.

References

The literature references were researched by us with the utmost care. Nevertheless, we assume no liability for the completeness and timeliness of the study information. Many of the treatment options mentioned in the product information are based on findings obtained from animal or human cell cultures, animal studies, observational studies, and to a lesser extent, randomized controlled trials (RCTs).
The evidence base for complementary medicines is continuously evolving, which can partly lead to different results. We therefore recommend that practitioners always carefully review the current evidence before using such preparations.
