Administration: i.v., always prepare the infusion solution freshly dilute in 250 ml of 0.9% NaCl

THERAPY RECOMMENDATION

Effects:

  • Dexpanthenol is the precursor of the body's own pantothenic acid (vitamin B5). Pantothenic acid is significantly involved in energy metabolism and in the synthesis of cholesterol, bile acid, provitamin D, adrenal cortex hormones, sex hormones, ubiquinone, vitamin A, acetylcholine, melatonin, and taurine.
  • Vitamin B1 (thiamine) is a coenzyme for 24 enzymes and plays a significant role in energy production as well as in the synthesis of the neurotransmitters acetylcholine, GABA, glutamate, serotonin, and dopamine.
  • Phenylalanine/tyrosine are precursors of the catecholamines dopamine, noradrenaline, and adrenaline.

Therapy Recommendations:There is evidence that the properties of the substances contained in the product can have a positive effect on health problems of the mentioned indications:

  • in states of exhaustion, chronic fatigue, CFS, burnout syndrome, long-term stress
  • after long illnesses, as a tonic therapy, mitotropic
  • in chronic depressive moods, mood swings, antidepressant
  • in anxiety
  • "Chemobrain"

Contraindications:Do not use in children under 6 years of age. In case of impaired kidney, liver, or heart function and in case of albumin deficiency, an adjustment of the individual dose is recommended. Patients taking beta-blockers have an increased risk of a decompensated cardiovascular reaction, as beta-blockers inhibit the effect of adrenaline (emergency medical treatment). Patients with a tendency to allergic reactions and/or with diseases based on histamine release (e.g., asthma) should be questioned about known allergens in accordance with the principles of therapeutic due diligence.

Contraindications:Phenylketonuria (PKU), hyperthyroidism. Dangerous blood pressure crises can occur during therapy with MAO inhibitors.

CAUTION:Pre-infusion with co-factors for clean catecholamine synthesis is recommended: Folimetin, Vitamin B-Complex-Inject, Magnesium, Vitamin C. Additionally, please adjust iron, copper, and vitamin B12 blood levels. Do not use in cases of severely elevated blood pressure. High doses of L-phenylalanine can cause migraines. Vitamin C can lead to a falsely elevated blood sugar reading.
