THERAPY RECOMMENDATION

Positive Effects:

  • Riboflavin is a polyphenol. Like EGCG, it is a polyphenolic infusion without Kolliphor!
  • Riboflavin-5-phosphate is the physiologically active form of vitamin B2.
  • Riboflavin, vitamin B2, serves as a precursor for the flavin coenzymes FAD and FMN, which are active components of 60 enzymes. Its involvement in the respiratory chain, the cytochrome P450 system, lipid metabolism, and homocysteine metabolism should be highlighted here.
  • Antioxidant: Riboflavin is involved in the reduction of oxidized glutathione (GSSG) to reduced glutathione (GSH).
  • Adrenal Medulla Hormones: Supports the formation of catecholamines: adrenaline, noradrenaline, dopamine.
  • Riboflavin supports the utilization of iron and erythropoiesis.
  • Riboflavin supports the breakdown of purines into uric acid.
  • Skin & Mucous Membranes: Riboflavin supports skin and mucous membranes and is used for angular cheilitis in combination with vitamin B6.
  • Liver Detoxification: Detoxification of xenobiotics, drugs, pesticides, carcinogens.

Therapy Recommendations:There is evidence that the properties of the substances contained in the product may have a positive effect on health disorders of the mentioned indications:

  • within the framework of photodynamic diagnosis and therapy; PDT laser: blue. In addition to its use in tumor therapy, the photodynamic procedure can also be used against nosocomial infections and multi-drug resistant bacterial infections, as well as microbiologically associated biofilm infections. Oncological: skin cancer; non-oncological: periodontitis, fungal keratitis, chronic Lyme disease.
  • for mitochondrial diseases and lactic acidosis.
  • after severe illness or surgery.
  • for depression, fatigue, burnout, CFS.
  • for oxidative stress.
  • for iron deficiency anemia.
  • for the treatment of CHD, high blood pressure, elevated homocysteine levels.
  • for peripheral neuropathies and muscle weakness.
  • for leaky gut syndrome, seborrheic dermatitis, glossitis, skin flaking.
  • for bacterial infections, activation of phagocytosis.
  • for migraines, in combination with magnesium.
  • Eyes: Improvement of vision, cataracts.

Contraindications:Do not use in children under 6 years of age. For impaired kidney, liver, or heart function, and for albumin deficiency, an adjustment of the individual dose is recommended. Patients taking beta-blockers have an increased risk of decompensated cardiovascular reaction, as beta-blockers inhibit the effect of adrenaline (emergency medical treatment). Patients prone to allergic reactions and/or diseases based on histamine release (e.g., asthma) should be questioned about known allergens according to the principles of therapeutic due diligence.

Note for Doctors and Therapists:For individual prescriptions, the doctor/therapist generally determines the indication. The suggestion is merely a recommendation for a therapy option, with the dosage and frequency of application being solely at the discretion of the doctor/therapist. The treating therapist is responsible for the treatment and must individually check and evaluate the respective application for each patient before starting treatment.

We have researched the literature references with the greatest possible care. Nevertheless, we assume no liability for the completeness and up-to-dateness of the study information. Many of the therapy options mentioned in the product information are based on findings obtained from animal or human cell cultures, animal studies, observational studies, and to a lesser extent randomized controlled trials (RCTs). The body of evidence for complementary medicines is continuously evolving, which can sometimes lead to different results. We therefore recommend that therapists always carefully review the current body of evidence before using such preparations.
