THERAPY RECOMMENDATION

Positive Effects:

  • L-aspartic acid and the salt L-aspartate act as neurotransmitters and are involved in ammonia detoxification in urea metabolism.
  • L-leucine, L-isoleucine, L-valine are essential branched-chain amino acids (BCAA). They lead to significant protein anabolism and can prevent cachexia. L-leucine is a major activator of mTOR.
  • BCAAs stimulate gluconeogenesis and insulin secretion and are used in liver diseases. BCAAs support leukocyte formation and have antiviral effects.
  • Neurodegeneration: Branched-chain amino acids inhibit the uptake of aromatic amino acids across the blood-brain barrier and promote ammonia detoxification; they are neuroregenerative.
  • For further information, please refer to Mono-Infusions.

Therapeutic Recommendations:There are indications that the properties of the substances contained in the product may have a positive effect on health disorders of the mentioned indications:

  • as part of complementary cancer therapy
  • in chronic fatigue
  • in case of lack of vitality

New studies show that the accumulation of BCAAs promotes the effector function and anti-tumor immunity of CD8+ T cells by reprogramming glucose metabolism.

For new roles of branched-chain amino acid metabolism in cancer, please refer to the literature references.

Contraindications:Do not use in children under 6 years of age. In case of impaired kidney, liver, or heart function, and in case of albumin deficiency, an adjustment of the individual dose is recommended. Patients taking beta-blockers have an increased risk of decompensated cardiovascular reaction, as beta-blockers inhibit the effect of adrenaline (emergency medical treatment). Patients with a tendency to allergic reactions and/or with diseases based on histamine release (e.g., asthma) should be questioned about known allergens according to the principles of therapeutic due diligence.

Note for Doctors and Therapists:In the case of individual prescriptions, the doctor/therapist fundamentally determines the indication. The suggestion is merely a recommendation for a therapeutic option, with the dosage and frequency of application being solely at the discretion of the doctor/therapist. The treating therapist is responsible for the treatment and must individually review and assess the respective application for each patient before starting treatment.

References

We have researched the literature references with the greatest possible care. Nevertheless, we assume no liability for the completeness and topicality of the study information. Many of the therapy options mentioned in the product information are based on findings obtained from animal or human cell cultures, animal experiments, observational studies, and to a lesser extent, randomized controlled trials (RCTs).
The study situation for complementary medicines is subject to continuous development, which can sometimes lead to different results. We therefore recommend that therapists always carefully review the current study situation before using such preparations.
