THERAPY RECOMMENDATION

Positive Effects:

  • Hydroxy-L-proline is a non-essential activated amino acid; it is mainly found in the body in collagen and elastin, promoting collagen formation.
  • Hydroxy-L-proline can have an endothelium-regenerating effect.

Therapeutic Recommendations:There is evidence that the properties of the substances contained in the product can have a positive effect on health disorders of the mentioned indications:

  • Improved wound healing
  • Increased skin elasticity and tightening
  • Pain therapy for chronic, degenerative pain conditions, osteoarthritis, osteochondrosis, intervertebral disc problems
  • In cases of accidents and bone fractures: cartilage, bones, muscles, and tendons are strengthened
  • In cases of arteriosclerosis, the deposition of lipoprotein (a) is prevented
  • In cases of connective tissue-related venous insufficiency

Contraindications:Do not use in children under 6 years of age. In cases of impaired kidney, liver, or heart function, and in cases of albumin deficiency, an adjustment of the individual dose is recommended. Patients taking beta-blockers have an increased risk of a decompensated cardiovascular reaction, as beta-blockers inhibit the effect of adrenaline (emergency medical treatment). Patients prone to allergic reactions and/or with diseases based on histamine release (e.g., asthma) should be questioned about known allergens according to the principles of therapeutic due diligence.

Note for doctors and therapists:For individual prescriptions, the doctor/therapist fundamentally determines the indication. The suggestion is merely a recommendation for a therapeutic option, with the dosage and frequency of application being solely at the discretion of the doctor/therapist. The treating therapist is responsible for the treatment and must individually review and assess the respective application for each patient before starting treatment.
