THERAPY RECOMMENDATION

Positive Effects:

  • L-lysine is an essential amino acid. L-lysine is involved in calcium and collagen metabolism and is an important component of collagen and elastin.
  • L-lysine prevents calcium deposition in blood vessels.
  • L-lysine improves calcium incorporation into teeth and bones.
  • L-lysine promotes wound healing.
  • L-lysine has an antiviral effect because it acts antagonistically to L-arginine. In combination with vitamin C, the antiviral effect is enhanced.
  • L-lysine modulates anxiety and stress, and has an antidepressant effect.
  • L-lysine stimulates insulin receptor tyrosine kinase.
  • L-lysine positively supports LDL lipid metabolism.

Tip:For infections, combine with 15 g of vitamin C. For herpes infections, administer 4 g of L-lysine in combination with 15 g of vitamin C. First administer vitamin C, then the amino acid.

Therapeutic recommendations:There are indications that the properties of the substances contained in the product may have a positive effect on health disorders of the mentioned indications:

  • Increased skin elasticity and tightening, e.g., for connective tissue weakness.
  • For acute and chronic infections, common colds, herpes infections such as EBV, shingles, herpes simplex, CMV: therapeutic and for prevention of recurrent infections.
  • For diabetes mellitus type 2 and insulin resistance.
  • For hypercholesterolemia, cholesterol-lowering.
  • For arteriosclerosis.
  • For stress, reduction of cortisol.
  • For bone fractures.
  • For injuries, burns, etc.

Contraindications:Do not use in children under 6 years of age. For impaired kidney, liver, or heart function, and for albumin deficiency, an adjustment of the individual dose is recommended. Patients taking beta-blockers have an increased risk of a decompensated cardiovascular reaction, as beta-blockers inhibit the effect of adrenaline (emergency medical treatment). Patients with a tendency to allergic reactions and/or with diseases based on histamine release (e.g., asthma) should be asked about known allergens in accordance with the principles of therapeutic due diligence.

Note for physicians and therapists:For individual prescriptions, the physician/therapist fundamentally determines the indication. The suggestion is merely a recommendation for a therapy option, with the dosage and frequency of application being solely at the discretion of the physician/therapist. The treating therapist is responsible for the treatment and must individually check and assess the respective application for each patient before starting treatment.
