THERAPY RECOMMENDATION

Positive Effects:

  • N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine (NAT) is an acetylated non-essential amino acid. The acetylated form of L-tyrosine has improved nutritional properties.
  • N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine is the key building block in the formation of the catecholamines dopamine, noradrenaline, and adrenaline.
  • The thyroid gland also requires N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine for the formation of L-Thyroxine (T4) and L-Triiodothyronine (T3).
  • N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine is the precursor for the skin pigment melanin and the sleep hormone melatonin.
  • An L-Tyrosine deficiency mainly arises from oxidative, chronic stress and infections.
  • According to a 2020 study, NAT-dependent FoxO activation increases the gene expression of antioxidant enzymes and Keap1. Furthermore, NAT was found to suppress tumor growth, possibly via the activation of Keap1. NAT acts as a trigger for mitohormesis.

Therapy Recommendations:There is evidence that the properties of the substances contained in the product can have a positive effect on health disorders of the mentioned indications:

  • for acute and chronic stress management
  • for physical and mental performance enhancement
  • for chronic fatigue and CFS
  • promotes attention and focus, concentration-enhancing
  • for AD(H)D syndrome in combination with L-carnitine, etc.
  • for depression and listlessness, antidepressant
  • in pain therapy, analgesic
  • for nitrostress, conditionally lowered tyrosine and tryptophan levels
  • for Parkinson's diseases, neuroregenerative
  • for PMS
  • support for weight management, appetite suppressant

Contraindications:Do not use in children under 6 years of age. In case of impaired kidney, liver, or heart function, and in case of albumin deficiency, an adjustment of the individual dose is recommended. Patients taking beta-blockers have an increased risk of a decompensated cardiovascular reaction, as beta-blockers inhibit the effect of adrenaline (emergency medical treatment). Patients with a tendency to allergic reactions and/or with diseases based on histamine release (e.g., asthma) should be questioned according to the principles of therapeutic due diligence about known allergens.

Contraindication:Hyperthyroidism. In the therapy of MAO inhibitors, dangerous blood pressure crises can occur.

CAUTION:Pre-infusion with the co-factors for a clean catecholamine synthesis is recommended: Folimetin, Vitamin B Complex Inject, Magnesium, Vitamin C. Additionally, please adjust iron, copper, and vitamin B12 blood levels.

Note for Doctors and Therapists:Fundamentally, the doctor/therapist determines the indication for individual prescriptions. The suggestion is merely a recommendation for a therapy option, with the dosage and frequency of use being solely at the discretion of the doctor/therapist. The treating therapist is responsible for the treatment and must individually check and assess the respective application for each patient before starting treatment.

We have researched the literature with the greatest possible care. Nevertheless, we assume no liability for the completeness and timeliness of the study information. Many of the therapy options mentioned in the product information are based on findings obtained from animal or human cell cultures, animal experiments, observational studies, and, to a lesser extent, randomized controlled trials (RCTs).
The study situation for complementary medicines is subject to continuous development, which can sometimes lead to different results. We therefore recommend that therapists always carefully review the current study situation before using such preparations.
